Warehouse technology

Since 1947, BERLINER SCHRAUBEN has been dealing with screws and jointing elements, piping components, plugs, timber connectors and tools. BERLINER SCHRAUBEN can thus look back on over 60 years of dynamic growth, during which over 5,000 customers from all branches of industry have been supported with expert advice and supplied efficiently and with outstanding flexibility. The range encompasses over 100,000 different items which are either delivered to customers with our own transport or by carrier on a "just in time" basis. At BERLINER SCHRAUBEN we regard service to the customer as a priority. Apart from benchmarks such as quality, delivery service and good prices, the individual customer requirements are always considered.

Each of our brunches has a warehouse of its own and is connected with our Germany-wide logistic network.

Also the large logistic centre of our partner company OTTO ROTH is available for our customers. The facility covers an area of approx. 12,000m² and consists of an automated pallet warehouse and a warehouse for small parts designed as a tray warehouse. The logistics centre offers place for almost 25,000 trays and about 8,000 pallet spaces.

Picking can be carried out from all warehouse areas simultaneously. Two-stage picking means that the goods can be put together automatically. The whole system is designed for round-the-clock operation.
